Howdy everyone,

I'm looking for the no cd of Immortal Cities: Children of the Nile. It's a game that came out 2 weeks ago, edited by Tilted Mill (http://www.tiltedmill.com). Anyone found a crack for it I'd be more than grateful

I'm looking for a no-cd crack also, as the original image file can't be burned without a cd-rom drive that supports dao/raw stuffs. My system refuses to run the game even with the original CD in the drive. : )

The actual protection is:

immortal cities, children of the nile - securom 5.03.06

I have tried mounting the image file using the newest versions of Alcohol and Daemon, and neither work. After a few seconds, a popup window comes up stating:

Conflict with Disc Emulator Software detected. See www.securom.com/emulation for more details.

I have tried changing the device name and model number information in both Alcohol and Daemon to avoid possible detection, which also did not work.

I have looked for a "Generic Securom R5" patch on the web-site, with no luck - there isn't one. The web site says:

Play Instructions:

Execute the LXTSRM60.EXE loader.

Well, the generic securom r5 program lxtsrm60.exe does not exist. Seaching the site for it reveals nothing.

This game is supposed to be pretty good. The reviews look great.

What do you mean by 'supposed to be' and the 'reviews look great'?
If you truly have the original discs you wouldnt have to rely on the reviews! And you would also know it IS pretty good NOT supposed to be good! ;)

First paragraph, let me break that down - the second sentence states:

Bottom line is that I'm not the only one - go to jowood's site or search google, there are plenty of people who bought the game and cannot play it.

They claim the game runs one or two times, in 30-40 launches.

New version of securom detected, hosability level 10.

I have successfully backed up this game using Blindwrite 4.2.5 and the Liteon 2412B as reader and writer. The copy works fine in both my Liteon burner and my Liteon DVD player. It does not work in my ASUS 5224a so it is obviously hardware sensitive.
