Help me Backup Please!

Hi @ all!

I hope you can help me, because I want to backup a PSX2 Game and i dont know how it works! (Crash Bandicoot - Worth of Cortex , Pal, Platinum Edition)

I have backuped many games without any problem, but this makes me troubles! :( I hope you can help me?! Maybe I need a Patch or something..Hmm..if it is so, please send me the introduction how this works!

i try to make it with, nero start smart! I create an Image File to the Hd, and then i burn the image to de DVD-R! Thats it! All of my other backups, runs without any problems. Could it be, that it makes troubles because it´s a Platinum? ? ? Thx Ernie

Could be a scratched/dirty original. No patching should be necessary. Do you get any errors and what happens when you try to play the backup? Please don't tell me you are using swap magic with the flip top or slide card.

No, i use an intergrated chip and I haven´t got any problems with it bevore! I don´t know which chip especially?! When I start to copy on my HD (with Nero Start Smart -> Image Burn to HD) an "Error" comes : Cannot copy files, make sure you´ve got licences to copy this disk"??!!!

Should i probably try with another burn-software?? Which one? I´ve also got ALcohol 120%, and Clone DVD??

You could try with DVD Decrypter. It is very good - and free too :)

Otherwise, RecordNow MAX would be your best bet ;)

I got the Problem! I don´t want to belive it! *hehe*

It was a PSX2-Game (Platinum Series) and it wasn´t a DVD it was a CD-R!! (The Original) ... i never thougt that there are also Original PSX2 Games on a CD-R!
