has anyone been able to back up this game? When i try to play my backup, it seems to load up fine but then goes to a "now loading," black and white screen and just stays there. any help is appreciated.

What program are you using to backup the game?
I've got the same problem with my backup of NHL 2005. game starts, but when you are on the now loading screen (after you have selected your teams and that) the game stalls.
Any information is good information.
Thanks in advance
Both are EA games so depending on the modchip used it may need to be patched. It could also be a media issue.

I used Record Now DX 4.62 when I made a backup on TW PGA 2005 and no problems so far.

I'm using RecordNow MAX 4.50 and my copy of TW2005 is working fine
I also used the same program to backup NHL 2005 and the problem comes (the one i stated before), I used Ridata discs and i've got a v7 with a DUO Chip.
Warlock - where can you find the patches for the EA Games? (i hope i'm not breaking any rules in asking)
thanks in advance

I´ve got the same problem with fifa2005! *goin´andsurchforpatch*
How can we patch this backups?
THX
You should only need a patch if you are using a Slide card, Swap magic disc, no solder mod, Neo key, or a neo2.2. Most of todays no swap chips get around this protection. You can find patches at www.gamefreax.de, Megagames.com and www.ps2ownz.com
If the patch you need isnt there then you will have to look around the net. I dont use these types of mods so i dont look for or use patches.
