New to DVD backups

Hey everybody, i just got a new plextor dvd burner and i wanted to back up my fahrenheit 9/11 dvd. Im not sure how to go about this. i do have alcohol 120%, but will i need a different program for it? I tried to copy it with alcohol but it said it was a copy protected disc. any ideas? thx

You need tools that are able to get rid of the protection before you start ripping, burning them.
You need anydvd or dvddecrypter or dvdshrink, e.g. for this. DVDShrink is also able to transcode the dvd9 to dvd5. Clonedvd also is a good choice...

AnyDVD, CloneDVD (www.slysoft.com)

DVDDecrypter (http://www.dvddecrypter.com/)

There are various other tools, but you should try these first, as they are very easy to use.....

Also be sure to buy and backup Fahrenhype 9/11. Its better.
