Hey all, i have a problem. I recently bought San Andreas, and it's been playing fine (very good game btw) but i took apart my PS2 a while ago, never put the bolts or anything back it, it plays fine. lasers getting bad i know (ps2 model is Scph-30001) but i just tried to turn it on today, and it sat there for a while (usually does) gave me a DRE. But i left it there for a little bit, i was doing something else. And i go back to it, restart it, and it doesn't even try to spin the disc. I took it apart again to see if it was (which it was not). I played it just fine yesterday too. Anyone know any quick remedies? or just new PS2 only option? thanks -Eagle

Well its the laser, read the stickies.
