hdd noise??

just got a hdd upgrade but ive got a few questions.

the xbox seems to make a little extra noise , kinda sounds like the fan working faster, is this normal.

also, in game reset always brings my to the orignal microsoft dash and not evox. what do u guys do to reset??

the noise might be the hdd spinning. You might want to reflash some bios that have the fan spinning a little quicker, like %60.
