Confused about the new cracks!

I surfed to GCW today and I noticed a section which says :
"Added No-CD/No-DVD/Fixed Images for"

If images are used does that mean crackers don't have break copy protection when there's a new patch?!

You can use Mini Images to bypass the copy protection to play the game without having the original disc inserted.

When a mini image is available, then there isn't a crack at the moment, or the available cracks don't work correct.

This so called Mini images.....does it work with games that have been patched?! Like for example I'm updated my copy of Singles to 1.5 and I'm lazy to insert the CD each time I want to play it...so will the mini image come in handy?!

If I remember right...Singles use Starforce 3.
Mini image works, with emulation tools, like Alcohol and Deamon tool.
But often just with SafeDisc and SecuROM protection.
If it's starforce 3 you need to follow the instruction that's are listed somewhere here or in GameCopyWorld!
