Hello I have a few newbie questions here so youll have to bare with me.I want to get a hard drive for my ps2 but im not sure which one i should get except maybe that I want one in between 40 and 80 gigs if possible. Now I have a mod chip installed which I dont have any problem playing any games on.

1.I live in the U.S. so maybe if anyone knows where I can find a cheap hard drive for the ps2,maybe on sale? =)

2.Will i be able to play my original ps2 games online, like socom 2 with this hd?

3.and last but not least ive got a few games on to dvd+r and i did notice they take sometime to load, but they are still playable. Now with this hd would that mean that these long loading times and what not and the skipping would go away?

well thanks again for your help.

1st only if you have a mod chip with auto atad patching, then almost any hd will work, if your chip doesnt then you have to patch the HD
2nd you can play the original game online but not off the HD
3rd load times are reduced but the skipping sounds like a bad media problem or maybe a bad burn
