I have used clonedvd 2 for awhile now to backup my dvd's. Today I ran into a problem, when I clicked go, it said I didn't have enough space 4.38 gig required and I had 2.59. I've never needed to do that before! Also how can I move my video_TS file? Or can I create a new one? Or do I uninstall and reinstall?
I am using winxp, 2 gig virtual and have 1.96 gig remaining memory.
Celeron processor, i/o magic dvd burner. Never had any probs before. Oh yeah Ridata disks.
I always burn on the fly so it doesn't have to be saved to the hard drive, its just automatically deleted when finished.
Thanks,
BK

Umm just delete about 2 gigs of space from your hdd and youll be fine. Even though you burn on the fly it doesnt mean its copying straight to your disc while its compressing. It means it creates an image on your pc then burns from it after compression has been completed.

I was wrong! My buddie put a 80 gig hard drive in, but I can't access it...my cd is disabled, but my dvd isn't....damn kids! It says Code 22, disabled.
What does this mean? And how do I access the rest of my hard drive space?
Thanks,
BK

It's taking me about 35 minutes to backup Kill Bill 2 using CloneDVD(1) using a temp folder then burning onto DVD. I have a 4x Pioneer 106 drive and I'm reading the DVD w/ a separate 16x DVD drive - is this time normal? Shouldn't the process be faster?

Its about that fast. If you want it faster get a better processor.

Tyler-
I have 80 GB hard drive that has 20 Gb in the first partition and 60 Gb that is unpartitioned. How do I get access to the blank space and add it to my usaable space?

with CloneDVD if you don't put in the subtitles during burn, will there be subtitles for movies where they only show up in a few parts?

Yes. Those subtitles are usually part of the movie itself. So they will not or cannot be taken off.
