Hey guys~
I have been looking at picking up a couple of the Logitech Cordless Action Controllers to replace my DualShock 2's. I have a big screen in the basement and the controller extensions are becoming a real pain in the ass.
Does anyone have any of these controllers? I read a review at www.ign.com and they said they were amazing, probably the best wireless controller out there. So I'm looking for a truly unbiased opinion.
Are these controllers that good? Do they stack up to Gamecube's wavebird?
Thanks guys!!

I've got the 1st gen of the Logitech Controllers and they are pretty damn good. However they are a bit big and the D-Pad is a little hard to use. Also one of the controllers I have is not working perfectly (The right analog is not responding to well). I'm assuming you are talking about the 2nd generation Logitech controllers which use 2 batteries and are a bit smaller than the 1st generation controllers. The 2nd generation looks like its been upgraded from the 1st gen quite a bit. Smaller controller, D-Pad looks better and looks actually usable, and has a sleeker design (Less batteries!). Overall having experienced the 1st generation, I plan to pick up two of the 2nd generations. One to replace the broken 1st generation and another to have four controllers! (1 official + 1 1st gen + 2 2nd gen controllers). Overall for the price its pretty damn good! I say go for it! The first ones are damn convenient and the second generation is supposed to be better.
I have a new, white, cordless action controller - it's a very very very good controller indeed.
It has far better analog sticks (much more accurate - i checked on the computer as well), the wireless connection is flawless (logitech has quite alot of experience there), I even prefer its digital pad though it's quite different than the original one and Batteries last forever (even the rather cheap 1300mah charging ones i use).
The only minor issue has to do with the weaker force feedback, but it's still well noticable.
I have the first gen and love it to bits :D

I think I am going to pick one of these up myself. I have been tempted a couple times to buy it but for one reason or another I have found no reason to actually get it. Maybe its time to check it out first hand.

Thanks guys!
I appreciate everyone's help and opinion. The way my Playstation is set up right now sucks because I'm at least 15 feet from it. So, cords are a pain in the rear. I'm definetly going to get one and try it out. I'll post a review or something when I get it.
Thanks again guys!
