flip top lid help

Hi ive just tried to fit a v9 flip top lid to a silver pal ps2 but when the lids fitted the draw wont open dose this mean its a version 11 , cause ive fitted to a version 9/10 before without problems.Please could somebody advise me if theres away i can mod the lid to work with this ps2 many thanks ;)

HA! You gotta pay more cash for another crap lid! Or just get a modchip that doesnt have a problem with any lids for less.
