Many people used to recommend the DMS4, however, a lot are recently telling me that the infinity is better.

I am wondering, is there any side-to-side comparisin of what features each one has and dosent have? Even the smallest of features....

Mainly, its important to me that the chip will work on a V4, supports the official HDD (I play FFXI on my PS2, I dont want that ability disabled), supports playing PAL games in NTSC (I have a few PAL PS1 games on me, half of which DONT work in emulators >.<) and direct-boots any PS1 or PS2 media. and can use cheat devices like GameShark, Action Replay, and Code Breaker. I know the DMS can do all this, I dont know what the matrix can or cant do.

firstly look at this thread.

http://www.fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=65049

now considering that thread is true of what it speaks...i would go matrix. it can play PAL games thanks to the new 1.3 upgrade.

i dont know about the GameShark, Action Replay, and Code Breaker stuff since theres no need to cheat. lol or whatever they do. the matrix can probably handle it :D

and yes it boots anything... it would boot a piece of wood and you would be playing Hickory Oak Adventures all day.

Is there a chart anywhere that shows their features side by side? And id really like to know about cheat device compability.

Crystal Chip is number1 for the UK market :D

It doesn't allow booting of back-ups & I can't be held responsible if somebody flashes it with an illegal bios (in the same way that Argos can't be held responsible for selling to a chipper).

Of course the chip comes with a flash disc but it clearly states 'not for use in the UK' ;)
