My ps2 can read dvd-rw.i search the forum and found someone writes that dvd-rw have poor reflectivity and the laser can wear out more easily.
is it true?
(im using verbatim dvd-rw)

Yeah its true. Only use RW for testing purposes, or not at all.

It's true, and I hate people who say "Oh I'll put it on a RW and delete it when I want to backup another game"

For tests ok, but for general use, hell no.

why would anyone want to backup onto rw anyway surley its cheaper just to use -r ,a backup is peace of mind not ohhh ill play for a while then rec somit else on it ??????????? why bother then use your orig
