Are there those that have been trying the disks like I have as of late and having problems with them? I've never ever had problems with the demos but the last 2 issues are defective. The latest being the MG Snake Eater demo. Talk about a sad boy, I'm one.... :(

I guess it's time to call yet again.

I use to check those out as well, to see some of the new games on them. I havent tried any lately but now that you mention it, I think I will pick one up today. Its been a while but I will check back here later today and let you know if mine works. bbl

Does the console play normal DVD Game Discs?

Yes it does. I don't seem to have any problems at all. The disk last month didn't work at all and this month the 'behind the scenes' part of the disk works but not the playable demos... I really wanted to play MG. :(

I purchased the opm86 issue with the mgs3 snake eater demo on it and my modded ps2 seems to do some kind of double check, and then goes to the purple error screen. It will not load!! But on a non modified system the demo works fine?? Is there some kind of patch maybe?? or maybe i can rip just that demo out seperatly and play it?? I dont know what to do i really want to play this demo.

Have you tried it on another modded PS2?

No I've only tried it on mine which has an apple chip, and a friends whose is unmoddified. It works flawlessly on my friends.

If it is double TOC, that'll be the problem because Apples are known to have difficulties with it...

When turning on the system press and hold reset until you see the Sony screen.
