I was wondering how to backup a dvd ps2 game that is over 4GB (bigger than a dvd disk). I heard you can separate it into 2 dvd disk. How can I do this?
Either get a dual layer burner, split it, or downsample video sequences. You can find tutorials on this here (http://www.alucard.cc/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=37)

I thought that the ps2 does not read dual layer?
yes... ive also heard things about dual layer and ps2 not mixing. but hey if it works go for it. but thats also investment. besides... isnt a dual layer the same as 2 dvd's... you still have to open the tray to switch it up. ;\

?? Switch it up? DL are supposed to look like normal dvdr, but they are able to hold almost 2x the amount of data on them. Are you talking about the double-sided dvdrs ? Didn't those come out awhile ago?
