yes, but which one do you think is THE BEST?

As I am going to get one, I want one that can do dual layer too, and 16x if possible :)

What is so special about the Pioneer brand? I am looking for one and heard a lot of people say that Pioneer is the best but why? I am looking to use it to back up my Xbox games. Does it have anything to do with that or will any DVD-+RW work for that??

Any dvd burner can backup xbox games, but Pioneer is the brand of choice of most people. Top notch quality and the best firmware support you can get.

Anything Pioneer's

Pioneer's <--- Agree most compatible with any media, plus some can be firmware hacked if need be.
