is there a guide on how to back up my ps2 games

Have you already read the untimate info sticky in the PS2 forum for backup info?

Nero6 has a help utility you can read. As for a users guide, it should have came with one when you purchased the software. If you bought it online, you can check their support forum on the site. It may be able to help with understanding how to use it.

go to the MODE section on top then ISO then READ to the harddrive
once its on the hardrive . install blank dvd go to MODE , ISO then WRITE to dvd

DVDDecrypter is free and its a pretty awesome tool to use because theres basically all the settings available one might want to try, like its also possible to even continue copying if theres read errors.
