I e-mailed the Infinity team about the 1.3 update yesterday, and I got this back:

Hi Andy,

I am just waiting in these hours to get the upgrade to update the website. Unfortunately I am depending on the development team, and until they give me the upgrade I cannot do anything.

Anyhow they told me this weekend should be the good one, so, i am crossing fingers :-)

Best Regards,
The Matrix Team
Luke.

What are your guys opinions? :)

I have no idea - they have kept those cards very close to their chest. However, it ain't the first time I've been told it's going to be in the next few days...

The Infinitys flash bios has nothing to do with supporting the larger HDD's. To do this you need to patch the HDloader.elf with Zero-X's patch. So in other words its the Dev app. that will support this not the flash of the Infinity.

As for my thoughts on what this flash may address 2 major things are this

1) Get around the RCE protection on the V9 and V10 when playing DVD movies.

2) Address the PSX mod protection problems with old PSX games like Spyro 3

it would also be nice if they added a configuration menu to be able to enable/disable features and select the default boot mode.

I ordered an Infinity Mod for a V7 I just bought. If it's any good, I'll be getting one for my V7 :)

I hope they add better compatibility with PSX type games/tools.

For instance i can't run my Blaze CD/DVD lens cleaner as it acts as a PSX disc and after the puplisher intros it gets all pixilated...and there'd nothing wrong with the disc.

Also i don't know when its the Network Adapter doing this or the chip but on the odd occasion a game might hang...or sometimes not hang...but it won't turn off, the most i had pressed the power button in was for 30secs and it should have turned off by then. Also it doesn't reset sometimes.
