Hi,

I dont know if this question has been asked, I tried to search but I found nothing.

Does anyone knows how to put Street Fighter 3rd Strike, Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and Capcom Vs Snk 2 in 1 cd?

When I went to Austin for a tournament someone pop a cd and when it loaded it gave him the option of which game to play.

I was so busy playing I forgot to ask. So Im asking here to see if anyone knows how to do this.

yea it requires hacking a browser and launching games and linking adx files.

Or just download TDC_Final which alrdy has that done.

Oh ok, TDC-Final is the cd that has all 3. I thought it was some kind of burning program.

i got a question, in that tournament, what did the menu look like?

as for a tut, search this forum for one of my posts, " what are some small DC games?". it has a guide for launching games from a planetweb browser and a dp3 browser.

utsutsu, you can find a .torrent for it on suprnova.org; I've been seeding it since it was released back in April-ish. And go play at Stargate some for me. There's no competition where I live, which is why I end up with funky projects like this. (And if they still have it, play some Garou on the neo-geo. Love that game.)

hrb2k, havent you got a copy of TDC_Final? Its most likely what he saw. Ill up a picture of the main menu if you want.

Edited: Yes, I know it looks distorted, but the when displayed on the tv, it looks fine. Probably has to do with the low number of horizontal scanlines on NTSC. The front HTML page is a this single image in an image map. The Browser link goes to the XDP page to select which user agent version you want. The Options link go to the page to choose game soundtrack (CvS2 w/ 3rd strike music, for example, seems the most popular), and the covers do what you'd expect them to. The splash screens during boot up were replaced with some SF themed wallpapers I found. However, if your *grumble* users don't have their modem in the DC, they get the 'which region are you?' setup page instead, like with PAL dc's. *grumble*.

<pet peeve>WHO THE HELL REMOVES THE MODEM FROM THEIR DC, AND LEAVES IT THERE WITH ITS INSIDES SHOWING, AND THEN BLAME ME FOR MAKING A BROKEN DISC????</pet peeve>

Sorry, had to vent.

i like that menu. i think the reaseon why some ppl get the region screen is because its actually the planetweb browser. its XDP's frontend. its better to use dp3 as a front end for launching games.

I knew it used PW for the front end, but I didnt know about the problems with PAL dc's or with people who smoke crack and remove the modem. My thoughts for the future if I ever get around to updating it were to link the 'which region are you?' page and the main menu page. Even if PW bjorks and tries to go through the setup, they'd get the main menu. Anyone with the BBA or modem that needs to setup for real may have to go through the setup with another disc, or figure out a way to do the setup through DP/XDP instead of PW.

Of course, I could also do a better job of finding more identical files to link and more stuff to strip out to make room for Ikaruga as well :) Then I could do the ADX linking some more and have the fighters available with Ikaruga tracks and visa versa

how do you relink the adx files. do you run linux or windows?

I use linux for making that disc, because I cant figure out how to do the linking in windows. I build up the directories just how I want them, use the 'link' command to create the links, and mkisofs to make the iso. Once its mastered, I burn it to a cd, test it, and if its good, use diskjuggler to make the cdi for distribution.

i see.

i only have windows so i cant relink. i wish there was a way.
