View Full Version : the best dvd writer?
wich one of these writers you think is the best?
1. PIONEER A107
2. LG 4082B
3. NEC ND2500A
4. Sony DWU18A
My baby is the 107,
Purely cause i got it as a steal and the good old 104 was still going strong :p
Of the four listed i would go with the pioneer or the Sony.
I have the Sony DWU-18a, its a very good writer.
May i suggest you get your hands on some DVD-R RiData G04 discs, they are fantastic with this burner that is if you decide to get it.
Although don't you think you should get a dual layer burner?
I have a Lite-On 832S - Fantastic Dual-Layer writer, and beats the arse out of my 104 :)
Some writers allow you to upgrade firmware and allow burning to Dual Layer media. What writer do you have atm?

i have the ND-2500A and it's upgradeble via hacked firmware.
great writer never 1 issue but, with the NEC ND2510 out for around $69 USD i would get that writer.
