Please can i call on the collective wisdom of this renowned site to resolve a small issue. I would like to create a fully operational working backup of my original MOHAA game. I have virtually no experience in these matters and i will no doubt be requiring details of the necessary software to complete this mission. The instructions will have to be detailed and precise in order to be successful. I hope to hear from the elite in the very near future.

Here are some details of my equipment which might be helpful.
1/ Windows XP PRO
2/ Pioneer DVD-RW DVR 107D
3/ 512MB PC2100
4/ Athlon 2400XP
5/ 80 GIG HD
6/ Nero 6.3.0.0 Ultra

Thank-you for reading this posting. All the very best from TS950SDX.

Here is the story so far. I have identified the protection as safe disk 2.6 using clony xxl. Tried using alchol 120% versions 1.4.8 and version 1.9.2.1705. I have used the alcohol 120% guide to set things up. Results so far are loads of disk read errors. Alcohol has been running now for over an hour and has dumped only 3% this cannot be correct surely. Where are things going wrong? Any ideas or pointers would be much appreciated.

Yep, this is correct and is normal! Just let it go, once it gets to 4-5% it will speed up, and the errors are part of the protection!

Well that is a surprise all those errors being the norm. I have done the two disks so i guess all i have to do now is test them. I will call back and let you all know what the results are. Thanks for the help.
