View Full Version : Game saves
When you save a game as you are playing where does it go on the HDD? As I would like to copy them over to my pc so I can put them on to my new HDD. I have a 120 gig and going to put in a 250 gig.

Copy everything in your E folder. Save it to your pc and then transfer it to your new hdd. Its always a good idea to keep a save of your E folder from time to time in case any disaster happens.

Thanks. So when I put in the new HDD can I just transfer the E:/ drive back over off my pc? Or just open the e:/ and transfer all the folders over?

Transfer it off your pc. I personally make a cd with a date and time written on it and keep it for my records. That way it doesnt clutter up my PC.

I would put all of my saves onto a re-writable cd. So I only use one cd, and just back it back up onto that one cd, instead of having loads wasted. This reduces the amount of wasted cd's which I can use to backup/hold other things :) :p

Yeah. That makes sense, but I just bought a hella cdr's and it really doesnt bother me that much. Anyways, I would rather have a cd that cant be erased.
