I'm thinking of buying another xbox since my last one got fried. I had no idea where to start looking so i thought i'd ask you guys. Can anyone recommend a site? I'd appreciate any help.

uhh
u could goto bestbuy or circuit city or somethin..
if u cant solder u gotta avoid the 1.6 (which i believed was cracked by solderin.. but i was kinda knocked out durin alot of that period)
so maybe get a refurbed one
or off ebay or somethin

If you were to install the chip yourself, you'd save about $50-80 depending on where you buy the premod. System-mods.com is pretty good because they are having a sale on the 2.3b lites, and will have the x2.6's out soon.

Isn't chipping the xbox really easy? I was told it like one wire, and some points, compared to the PS2 which is like 23 wires :s lol (The reason Im not doing my PS2)
