problems cracking trackmania

Can anyone tell me why Trackmania won't work when cracked. The crack is the 1.0 found at gamecopyworld. I believe its because the starforce 3 hasnt been gotten around properly or has something to do with my release. I live in Australia and we usually get the uk version of games. Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps, you might wanna elaborate on the "won't work when cracked" part... What does it (not) do?

The game will not bypass the starforce splash protection screen. More specifically the one as it authenticates after you enter the serial key.
