Hi all
Looking to get one of the new ps2 in sexy silver, however i would be backing up all the games i buy, which i belive will not work without a mod chip, i have tracked down a company in the states called MODCHIP STORE.COM and they sell this (PS2 No Solder V5/6/7 Mod and Swap Magic v3.0/2.0 Combo) is that all i need? anyone know of a uk based company that can supply the nessesary mod chip ( no solder)

Dont waste your money, If you are going to buy a new console get a no swap chip.

I agree with Warlock, get yourself a good no swap chip. Here are a few for you to check out.
1. Matrix Infinity
2. DMS3
3. Duo2

These are pretty decent chips! ;)

Anyone know about this, Breaker Pro for PS1 and PS2? from Modchip store,
looks like just a boot disc, no internal messing about, no invalidated guarantee

iff i where you i would go for the ripper 2 gold
it's the best chip at the moment and has only got 17 wires to solder :)
i've done it myself with the help of the picture's on the website from ripper 2

just type in google ripper 2 gold

yeh ive been real busy dude working and all havent had time (couldnt be arsed as well ;) ). You always need to socialise after work eh? so thats what ive been doing.

Oh btw i changed my duo to a mi few weeks back works a charm.
