CloneDVD2 WriteDVD 11 5 W2 Error

CloneDVD2 v2.4.3.5 and AnyDVD 3.9.2.1 Lite-ON DVDRW LDW-851S and Memorex DVD+R 8x media. I have copied a ot of other DVD's with these versions and this is my first problem. It creates the files, then when trying to copy gives me the WriteDVD 11 5 W2 error. Any suggestions or thoughts? thx :o

Now I get a WriteDVD 9 11 W2 error!! RRGGGG I "made a backup" of Nip/Tuck Season 1 Disc 5 with the Memorex 8x media and it worked fine. What is going on? Last night I tried to make a backup of this movie and it said "successfull" yet when i play it, it stops. I look an the back of the DVD from last night, and it has wierd marks on the place where it burned. Hard to explain. Any ideas???? :confused:

i've had both of these error messages in the early days of getting any dvd and clone dvd to work,

in my experience they are caused by either bad media or the programme being affected by other dvd programmes,

do you have nero installed? or any other dvd burning programes for that matter?

i couldn't get clone dvd to work properly whilst nero was still on my system,

yea i have Nero 6, but I really don't use it except for audio CD's and I don't have any other DVD burning software installed. I guess it might just be bad Memorex DVD+R 8x's?? :confused:

So I updated my firmware right before this all happened, so I went back to Lite-On's site, and whaddya know, a new version!!!! works beautifully :D :) :D :rolleyes: :cool:
