At the same most companies are considering it..Odds are likely they will..
Question is b/c of this do I buy the Pioneer 108D(Supports 4x DL DVD+R) or should I wait till Pioneer releases the DL -R format?

What Software u using? Also Since DL Discs are in some what in a earlier stage it's best bet you wait till they bring out better discs no?
I talked to several people who had no problem backing up DL Games and they say it works fine..
So wait till later finalized Discs come out..I mean it was the same way with DVD5 in the earlier days..
Personally I think 108D is fine, but opinions are like Dime a Dozen..

You tried Sonic RN Deluxe? I always used this for ISO made DVD's and direct copy of .Gi files and worked flawlessly..
At least Originally Primo and then company changed to Stomp RNM(Record now Max)..
I NEVER used DVD Decrypter for games period only to rip DVD movie files and for Nero B/c bad experience don't burn DVD's on it except for CD-R Bin and Cue's..So Try Sonic Record now Deluxe..Make the image to the Hard drive and burn..Should work..

It could be your firmware needs updating or Since Like I said earlier DL Discs are still somewhat in a early phase likely you might want to wait till later versions of DL discs to arrive..Be patient, also at the time Some burners doesn't recognize DL discs even though they might support DL burn..
Give it some time, that's why yours gave out when you said you made few roller coasters..
Believe me when I first purchased A03 when it first came out I purchased 5 Verbatim DVD-R's which ran me $45.00 dollars and in the End all of them I made Roller coasters b/c I tried backing up Devil May Cry only to find out at the time NTFS Format is a must(Nowa days you can Burn DVD on FAT32)..
For that price I could of purchased a another PS2 game.. :D
