System link with back-ups

Does anyone know of any issues playing system link with back-ups?

I have

1 chipped Xbox and 1 unchipped
1 original copy of PGR2 and 1 back-up.

Both games work OK in their respective Xboxes. I'm using the same crossover cable I use to ftp to the PC. They just don't bleedin link. :confused:

Any ideas much appreciated.

Whooops - it's working now. Switched both Xboxes on and off and it's sorted.
