Problems with DOOM3

I have Doom3 in DVD, no problens to install, no problem to paly, but when i save the game, the game dont run, and i play the game and a message with a error appear, when i delete the savegame the game run, solutions?

Does this happen with your original cds?

I was wondering about that one myself cause mine isnt doing that. I just bought a new batch of computer parts and built an amd xp3200 with all the trimmings and loaded up my doom3 and it has been working pretty smooth except for a few slows when a bunch of enemies come on at once but its all good for me. You got a point there Bounty. Hmmmm????
