View Full Version : Burning from cue/bin
I'm burning from cue/bin files. I have been mounting using daemontools and copying them using clonecd. The discs won't boot. I have made 1:1 backups with clonecd without probs. Am I using the wrong method? (I can't see why it wouldn't work) or is it just badly created bin/cue files. I use the same CD's as for 1:1 backups and burning speed as low as 2x.
Thanks for tips

AHHHHH, I have a feelin I know how this will end.
Anyways, how did you make those .cue/.bin files? Use that program to burn them.
Tyler!
Well the original cd is wasted (it went under a chair leg and ...scrunch)
and it was the only one I didn't back up. But if you can't help then pointers to where I might buy a used Bomberman game would be appreciated (it had just become my kids favourite).

Oh I can help.
I just cant help piracy. So if you want to make a backup of a disc you must actually have the original first.
Sorry.

 If the original is broken or damaged to the point of non playing status, wouldnt the proper coarse of action be to either repurchase or consult the manufacture and see if they could replace it for you?
 I seriously doubt they would replace it due to user error/accident. In which case it is definitely not able to be backed up if broken so repurchase is inevidable. (if you want to play this game again).
Unfortunately :( this is all of the help we can offer because you must own the original and to back it up, it must be in a condition to be backed up. Super glue and Duct tape simply wont work in these situations! :p (just joking)
Edit: Here (http://www.games-outlet-store.com/games-mode-videogames-node-537504-locale-us.html) is a link you can try in regard to repurchasing the game.

Tyler!
Just the other day, I was told I am always right. I disagreed and replied," not true". " Just a minute ago I thought I was wrong but silly me, I was mistaken". It appears you have the same problem, Tyler! :p
:D
I hate it when that happens! ;)
