Need help HDD for PS2

If i buy network adapter for scph-30005
It's network adapter is back of my ps2 :p
And buy pc's HDD and put it to network adapter :eek:
And insert dvd and backup to HDD
It will run without dvds-?

I believe your talking about the use of HDloader with a third party HDD. Well if you are, yes you can back-up your games to the HDD and play them with out the disc in your PS2, it will then play from the HDD.
