Thank you both for your help. i wasn't writing an ISO file before :( Will Decrypter compress the ISO so as it will fit on a disc?? At the mo the file is about 7,000,000KB. If not, how can i compress it?? Will it write straight to a duel layer disc using the new Pioneer 108 duel layer writer??

Thanx again

No problem. That sounds like a DVD9 film, dual layer, I have never written a dual layer disc so I cant help you any further :(

Thanx anyway mate. It is a dvd9 but dvd shrink compresses a duel layer to fit on to a single layer. It seems that dycrypter will not do the compression.

DVD Decrypter is not supposed to compress movies. It does exactly what it says. It rips and decrypts dvds for you (along with the bonus of burning image files too). If you want to compress dvd9's then stick with dvdshrink, dvd2one or Instantcopy (the best 1 clicker out there).

If you read the Readme file that is on the DVD Decrypter site you would know this ;)

dvd2one works fine, you will still need Nero or RecordNowMax or DX to burn to dvd-r
