Need Help! Urgent!

I had bought a PS2 about a month ago V9. I bought a Swap Disk with Card and was using it until I had enough practice on an old motherboard so I could chip my PS2. I was playing one of my backups when the PS2 turns off on me. It never turned on again. I think its the L2 chip. I knew that the chip would burn out if I used the backups without the romeo mod but I didn't think it would be so soon. I haven't opened the PS2 yet so I think I have warrenty. Do I have warrenty? Can I get it switched? I think I don't have store warrenty because its been more than 30 days. What should I do? Thanks.

Search for the receipt. You may get lucky without it depending on who you purchased it from. If you are lucky enough to get a new one i suggest you throw the card in the trash and play backups the correct way using a no-swap chip along with the romeo mod. It doesnt sound like the v9 syndrome, it could be a blown fuse or something related to the card swap.

False Alarm guys. My PS2 is working fine. My dog unplugged the PS2. I noticed when I was going to disconnect it. I s**t on myself for a moment. I think that I am going to order that chip tomorrow. How long will it take to burn out the L2 chip anyway?

It could last a month or longer, then again it might blow within 30 sec. Its a chance you take playing backups unmodded.
