Official SOny HDD and a non DMS3 mod...

My SOny Offical HDD, shuts off my mod chip, I cant play my backup games with the HDD installed. Ayone know why?

Can I get around this?

use a seperate hdd for backups..

use the fastboot option to boot the media inthetray rather than the sony-HDD.

Unless he has the Infinity or the DMS3 I don’t think any other chips on the market have the fast boot option. With the Infinity you hold select while booting, with the DMS3 if I remember right you hold start while booting and they will both boot back-up games with the official Sony HDD installed.
