i was talkin with my cousin and the hard drive that you buy w/ FFXI doesnt work with modded consoles. Is that true?

The magic 2 doesn't support the hard drive.

what would happen if i got 1 and tried to use it? would it not work when i try to use it or i just cant get hdd loader?

Why not just get a 3rd party larger HDD and HDLoader??

Can't you buy FF on its own? If not, thats a bit of a scam on Sonys part :mad:

EDIT: Oh yeah, it needs the HDD to work doesn't it. I think HDLoader would work with it...

FFXI needs the original Sony ps2 hdd to run off of. It will not work on 3rd party hdd's. FFXI cannot be bought seperate from the official Sony HDD.

i doubt this but im gonna ask anyway, could i use an external usb hard drive. i have 1 with 250 gigs.
