Has anyone successfully used a 250 Meg Zip Drive plugged into the USB port of a Playstaion 2? What's the best buy out there for a Memory Card - the 8 megger isn't gonna cut it.

This might be very interesting, if you can find one in your region...

Thanks for the link. I see that little bugger is made by Iomega. That leads me to think that maybe Iomega may have some drivers out there that may allow the use of their Zip 250 with a PS2. I am gonna have to do some more research on this.

Well, I finally got ahold of a techie at Iomega in the US he said they don't support PS2. That simply amazes me since the X-Drive box in the UK says for PS2. Go figure. Guess I'll look for another ZIp type drive by other than Iomega.

Good luck.... I did this about a year ago and also found nothing.

I totally agree with speedmetal...good luck in trying to find one

the x-drive was a old external usb zip drive made by iomega (it just had the x-drive logos on them)...to try and find a x-drive or the actual iomega zip drive unit is very difficult borderlining on impossible

that's my opinion of course

I tried looking for one about a year ago...came up with nothing
