No, it was cuz the brits that longed to be something more then sissy wig/glove wearing pansies, had it had it up to there nickers with a silly king/queen monarch that wanted to tax our asses off for things that where none of there flippen business. But in the end we are still being taxes for crap that has nothing to do with our government....lol at least they had a good start back then but now I ponder did we just turn into another form of the British .....hmmmmm HELL NO
