European Dreamcast

Hi, I live in europe, so I've got a european Dreamcast :) .
Can anyone say what I will need to play US games ? I have burned Crazy Taxi 2 and Jet Grind Radio, they both don't work. When I insert my Utopia boot disc, it just seems like it gets stuck when I insert the game.
Can anyone tell me, do I need a mod chip or do I just need to get another boot cd which can handle US games on european Dreamcast ? Ty.

By the way, in ADVANCED DiscJuggler settings, mode 1 means US games ? Because a guy told me always burn at mode 1, maybe mode 2 is for european games? Please let me know. I have now downloaded Boot Cdv1.2.cdi I read on a site that this boot cd can handle european dreamcast. LET ME KNOW :)

first, browse www.megagames.com to see if you need a pal or
a rgb patch (if you use a a rgb cable).

and try to read a faq. if you have still trouble, let us know.

Just get Action Replay, that will boot it for sure.

Or try Alcohol 120% to burn your games.

or try a super game converter. this disc allows you to play import games on any dreamcast system but i have never try it yet.
