View Full Version : About the dummy file?
I know that the dummy file helps the loading of the game, by pushing teh data to the outside of disk, where the rotations are bigger, I guess.
That's my doubt.
What exactly the dummy files does for game/disc/load?

Well as in xbox games when you put a dummy file in the mix and push the rest of the files to the end of the disc, your laser reads it faster. Center of the discs is the slowest, and end of the disc is the fastest rotations.

Thanks for the help. :)

As in xbox games remember to name the dummy files like "0000" or something. Otherwise it may go to the outside of the disc and defeat the purpose.
