I HAVE FOUND AND CANT BELIEVE MY EYES BUT IT WORKS!!!!!
10 friends and I have tried him out with the German version 1.0!
You can download into yourselves and convince yourselves here!
Finally one ray of hope on further Starforce games !!!

@EMPIRE:you should add to the instructions for the crack that you have to use the starforce cleaner thats in the archive first and reboot and then apply the crack .

Not 4 me, after 3rd (or 4th) mission (as german), repair units doesnt fix my "hero's" tank, only small & AI units. Mayby thats how it is, but in first two missions it worked differently ;)

This problem has nothing to do with the crack!
its a known bug of the game ,infact i have this problem and i have the original version i have it with and without the crack .here (http://www.cdv-board.de/deutsch/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17475&perpage=15&pagenumber=1) is the thread about this problem in the panzers forum from cdv if you know how to read german .i hope it will be fixed in the next patch .man this game is buggy as hell :mad:

without the crack with my original game i can repair this unit
with the nocd crack i doesnt work

so i think its a issue in the crack

With the crack i CANT repair vehicles. without it works fine. maybe still a bug but i think it has to be the crack.

I just recognized that these supply camps/centers where u can repair ur vehicles also dont work with crack.

It sort of sounds like the exe being used here is the one from the second demo, rather than a proper crack. In which case, it isn't all that encouraging. It would also explain why there are som anomalies.

Can someone who has the new demo post a checksum of the exe? I'll go and post one for panzers.exe later on.

i have both panzers and dtm rd2 installed. when i used the cleaner, dtm rd2 wants to restart the system to re-install the starforce driver. i can play both of them tho. btw: the panzers-crack works without the cleaner, too...

It's NOT the demo#2 EXE!!! Not even the filesize is different (demo exe is 300kb smaller). I did a bit debuging today. The Star****er's EXE is complete unencrypted and rebuild based on the retail EXE v1.04.

panzers.exe size / crc32

retail: 3.584.069 / B9FFBE17
demo#2: 3.592.261 / 859648FE
star****ers: 3.863.552 / B94BB194

That's some damn fine cracking so. If it encrypts the exe, I guess they must have snuck a custom int1 handler into memory which wrote the instructions out to disk? There's something in the inbar raz doc about doing that.

Damn, must confirm the Repair Unit Bug. Must be a trigger. But now they have encrypted the executable so i think its only a matter of time they find a solution and fix it...

I have to confirm this bug. If I play without crack i am able to repair...with crack...no way :(

:confused: This Bug in the NO CD Crack is not fixed after updating the Game,
You can Update the Game, and change the EXE. there is no different.

It`s much more harder to find this Fade in the original **.exe, than clear a CD Cpoyprotektion, because there is nothing what shows you the way to the Data where the Fade is.

After CD control there is:" Put in the original CD " what show the way.
After This you can search where the control is in the ***.exe

When the tanks are not repaired there is nothing !!

My English is not so god i want to say we have to wait a long Time !!

here's the solution to the repair-bug-problem:
install the new 1.06 patch for panzers (download at www.panzers.com).
then download and use the no-cd crack from www.gamecopyworld.com. although the crack is for 1.04, no-cd works and the repair-bug is gone. :-)

Anyone also have trouble installing the 1.06 patch.
I can't install the patch. Each time it tells me: "Panzers is not installed!".
I have reinstalled the game now three times.

(A friend has installed the 1.06 patch and use the "old" crack. Repairbug is gone, he said !!!)

What?? I simply asked, if theres a newer version of sf3 in the update? that isnt allowed? simple: panzers have different sf3 version than f.e soldiers heroes of ww2... didnt now that sf3 version was so sensitive issue...cheez!
