Dvd randomly pauses for a few seconds

I used dvd decriptor and dvd clone2 I have sony dru-700A dual layer burner and used verbatum +R dvds I have noticed that two of my dvds seam to pause periodicly and ramdomly one of these dvds was scratched but the other is like new was wondering weather its the dvd or my older dvd player

Try your backup in another dvd player and see if it does the same thing there. Remember not all standalone home dvd players will play dvd+r.
