got my 3rd duo installed, feel pretty confident about the connections...
however, when i fired it up, would not eject, and no splash screen. also, the eject button is staying lit.
has anyone seen this and hopefully has a quick resolution, besides me starting all over?
thanks!

Check to see if the ribbon cables are back in all the way and seated correctly, and not pinched.
Even if you are pretty confident about solder points, take magnifing glass to them and double check to be sure none are bridged.
If all else fails you may need to take the chip back out and start over, however that would suk!
Probably just one of the ribbon cables hopefully.
BTW, did you get that pdf file ok?

i did, and am greatly appreciative.
also, the ribbon to the power button was accidentally left unsecured, so I did as little dismantlin as possible while trying to repair, so, i am gonna gamble that's the problem.
thanks man.

opened back up, discovered 2 wires that go to the behind were severed.
fixed, back together, still no dice.
its fire'n up, but wont kick off the splash screen. and eject is staying lit. but unit will eject.
thoughts?
or should i just send the damn thing off?
