need help on john deere no cd crack

i installed the john deere american farmer and then i replaced the johndeere.exe file with the johndeere.exe file form this link http://spacetarget.com/games/pc_john_deere_american_farmer.shtml
and now when i try and play it with that for the no cd fix it says johndeere has caused a error in johndeere.exe and will now close...and will not le me play...anyone have a fix for it?thanks

looks like you got another game version than the one for wich the crack was made for.

no its version 1.0 english and it aint working...really wish i could get it fixed

I have just about the same problem.
get this error.

Having a hard time figuring this out. A friend of mine has the game also , with no problems. So guessing it's my system setttings or something but no ideas left where to look
