Xbox flashing lights

Having problems with my xbox, when i boot it up, the light at the front is flashing between orange & yellow. The picture comes up but pretty much black & white & no sound. Can anyone please help as to how i can fix this, could it be the cable or something like that?.

I'd say if you are 100% sure you have corrected all possible problems as stated in the sticky, then it's junked.

yellow? How come I have never seen or heard anyone talk about their xbox having a yellow led, except on this board? I dunno what to make of it.
