Play win 98 software on win xp

Can anyone help me, I have just got 3d max, only problem is the version i have only runs on win 98.
Is there any software I can get or anything else I can do to make this software work without having to install a secord hard drive with win 98 on it.

Well, first things first, right click on the .exe file of the program, click on properties, and then on the compatibility tab, click on it and set it as Win 98/Me, that might just sort your probs ;)
