Looking for a CD Fix for Phantasmagoria 1 & 2

I've just copyed Phantasmagoria 1 and Phantasmagoria 2 but I'm getting errors when I Run or Play the Games.

Phantasmagoria 1
Installs 100% and I can play all of the 1st CD but I get errors with the rest of the CDs (2,3,4,5,6 & 7)

Phantasmagoria 2
Installs 100% but I can't run\start the game I get a error.

The Error message is
Error 105
Scipt# 64940 ($fe64fcd0+)

I only know this site for No CD Files and CD fix files I dont know if there is a CD Fix for the Phantasmagoria games but if there is and you know were I can get them please let me know..

I assume you already tried to play with the originals to make sure they're not faulty ?

yes its only the Copys I get errors :(

Never copy on the fly. Make an image and burn that. Never read or write over 4x.

Are ok I've been Reading and copying at 8x all the time but I'll do it again at 4x. Why isn't good to read or copy at high speeds ?


Ok I copyed it again in 4x speed and still get the error :(

i own the original Phantasmogoria 1 and i think it was a cd-check only
(or better known as DOC check in the old times).

afaik starting at cd2, all files present where the video files and i couldn´t imagine video files are some sort of protected at the cds.

CD-Check You need a CD Fix what I'm looking for :) Can anyone tell me if theres CD Fix for them ?

sure there have been fixed for the game, but most likely they are removed from the crack sites because they are too old.

I'm in the exact same situation: I copied the Phantasmagoria 2 CD's, at 4x. Installation is no problem at all, but running the game results in an "Error 105: Script# 64940 ($fe65fcd0+)".
I even tried installing the game on different PC's, just to make sure that all prerequisites are met, but unfortunately every time with the same result.

Do I need to say that I also would be very grateful for a fix for this problem?

It seems to be a known problem, I notice when I'm browsing the WWW looking for a solution to this problem. As far as I'm able to conlude so far, is that no-one has succeeded in running P2 on an XP environment. Bummer...

It worked like a charm for me! P2 playable on XP! Tears of joy fill my eyes...
