Well it seems that we've had overwhelmingly negative feedback on www.the-console-corner.com lately. Unfortunately its enough for me to make a sticky about. I recommend you do not purchase from this site because of the many problems as of late. I have also noticed that all the PS2 modchips have been taken off this site. What that means you ask? Well I really cant say, but it doesnt look good.
If you are looking for the PS2 HDloaders I recommend you go to www.consolesource.com. I have personally ordered from them before and have always received my items, and usually with some other goodie packed inside. Here is a direct link to the HDLoader:

Well unfortunately I can now agree with this thread in that I too have had some trouble with them as of late. Over the last year I have done quite a bit of business with the people from www.the-console-corner.com and have been very satisfied even to the point of recommending their site to others in the forum. But over the last month this has changed. I ordered a bulk order of Magic V 50K's and was sent clones. I contacted them about this and was told they where unaware that they had clones and that they needed to contact there vender about this. I in turn sent the clones back in hopes of a replacement with originals, but was told they didn’t have any and that he would be sending me out a bunch of chips to replace what I had spent for the Magic V's. What I ended up with was a bag of garbage consisting of magic 3.1's and previously opens and even soldered chips. Plus he shorted me the quantity of chips he said he was going to send. Out of them all there is only 2-3 chips worth using.
He is also claiming that Sony has threatened him with a lawsuit. If this is true or not I do not know. He was taking pre-orders for the HDDloader which I also ordered and never got. I wonder if anyone else did. Like Tyler said he has removed all mod chips and games enhancers related to the PS2 from his site. I wonder if any one that ordered the HDDloader ever got there disc.
Any way I wish him well, and hope that if this Sony thing is real he comes out OK. But the truth is that even if it is real his service shouldn’t have gone down hill the way it has.
Consider www.foundmy.com or www.consolesource.com in the future.
You know what seems a little weird about this is, the case was filed in the district court of California, but when ever I ordered any thing from them, it was always shipped from Illinois.

Well you know it could just be branched out. Owner lives in CA and the shop is actually in IL.

Yeah that’s where he is (I think). Everything I got from him was from OH. Also if you read this page
http://www.the-console-corner.com/sony_vs_tcc.pdf
This is a copy of the court order, well actually a copy of a fax, and if you read the last page, it has his fax number at the top with an Ohio prefix of 440.
I don’t think it matters where it was filed but I could be wrong.
