Honestly Ive come across bad burns myself. Whenever I get a disc that acts funny I dont immediately think its the game or my modchip as most members here tend to. I just bite the bullet and make another backup at either slower speeds or with less going on in the background of my pc. In every case its just been a bad burn.

I agree with Tyler here...I've got Onimusha 3 and i haven't had any problems with it and i got a v7 PS2 with a Magic 3.1. Just reburn it and see if that works

well it will nOT work, i burned it as slow as i possibly could again and it Red screens at the same point. must be some protection that is on the original or something and it sees my apple modchip, is there a patch or something?

this game has double check and your apple can't get pass it.
you need a better modchip ,I'm wondering if the cd loader works with a modchip or it's only for swapmagic.

tried cd loader for v1-v6 consoles and i get an error msg after it says to switch the disk.

just downloaded and burned CD LOADER v7 BETA which is said to work with onimusha 3, well it works jsut fine with blade warriors too... me soo happy:).

well it does NOT work, it gets all the way till it says now loading (the actual game play) then it freezes up:(.

I just read on ownz that this game has triple check :eek: and those poor swapmagic users can't load it even with latest cdloader (V7 Beta 5.2).
seriously consider a new chip, modchip installers in this forum will tell you which chip is suitable for you. ;)

guys help me out then, what chip should i get, where, just help me out, if this has some new triple check coding, then i need a new chip to play my new backups, i currently have a v7 ps2 with apple.

Try a Duo chip, apple pro or a MagicV they are fairly cheap, if you want the extras get the matrix infinity.

i had to sell my ps2 for the same problem u will find that it wont load games like true crimes and freedom fighters as well i sold my v7 and bought a v9 and had a dms3 installed and it loads fine :)


im just wondering were the 3rd check is cause i loaded it on a swap system with cd loader but i didnt play it to find out about a 3rd check

Yeah I agree with Warlock, and if you like the apple line go with the apple pro, your old apple chip is to the apple pro what the old magic 3.1 is to the new magic V.

yeah i usely just been stoping by ever now and then looking at the post but not been saying much i vist psx fourms and here quite abit just reading the post if any intrest me but besides that i been visting and playing cncgamer.com i a big fan off that game and i started back playing and thats all i do now lol the new set for filefourms is like ownz i think its a lil buggy cause its screwing up as i type words running togather and its all white it may just be my pc though but im here and there ever now and then
