I know people have not given it much thought (and it probably does not matter) but, is there any quality diff in the extracted files (I suspect not) i was just wondering about this.

The output is the same
Sometimes the cracking of the CSS will take a small amount of time - DVD Decrypter will do this faster imho.
There are also other special cases of CSS such as DVDs where the encrpytion key changes somewhere on the disk, DVD Decrypter handles this best too.
I saw a comparision of rippers before, forget where, but showed that DVD-D performed well in all the general and special cases.
