OK beginners question I know. Never copied a DVD before. Got clone dvd, any dvd running. All i need now is some disks. I tried a search but none the wiser. Can anyone tell me what spec disks I should be looking for to get the best out of my writer.

Cheers

you never go wrong with Verbatims. I recommend you get the 8x rated to get the maximum speed out of your 107.

For my two cents, the Ritek dye offers great reliability and compatibility (G04 and onwards)

I just bought a 107 a few weeks ago and ordered a 50pk of Ritek dvd-r's off Newegg.com I have not had 1 coaster yet (I have used about half of them so far). The ones I used for dvd's work fine in dvd players and PS2's.

Thanks guys. Checked out a few decent suppliers in the UK for them now. Sorry another dummy question again, what's the deal with +r -r etc. still not sure which I should be buying.

try www.blankdiscshop.co.uk or ukdvdr.co.uk for cheap media, i would also recommend riteks, i go thru 600-1000 a week and have very few coasters. DVD-R is cheaper and more reliable in my eyes than +R media

So Far I have good experience with Ritek, ProDisc 8x, and Piodata.

I own the same recorder :)

I use Sonic 2x that are only $23 for 100pack.
